Charming historical setting with beautiful countryside views.
Upon arrival, we were informed we had booked a twin room instead of a double. Although the owners did eventually accommodate our request, the situation left us feeling uncomfortable during the check-in process.

Innisfree Cottage impressed me right from the start. The hosts were cute and made check-in easy. I stayed in the Beautiful Double or Twin Room with Garden View, cozy, with a comfy king-size bed. Plenty of tea and coffee supplies were provided. The breakfast was a highlight-plentiful and beautifully cooked with local ingredients. I especially enjoyed the full English breakfast. Eyam village offered a charming atmosphere with local shops and pubs within walking distance, like The Miners Arms for a great evening meal. One small downside, I noticed some dust on the headboards. Given my partner's asthma, this was a bit concerning, but it didn't overshadow the overall cleanliness and comfort of the room. The noise levels were nice and low in the evenings, great for a restful night's sleep. Despite minor issues, it was a nice stay, and I'd eagerly return.
